The region is the birthplace of numerous high-tech companies such as Philips, ASML, and DAF trucks and is the home of Eindhoven University of Technology. The city is also known as the design capital of the Netherlands, hosting the annual Dutch Design Week.

Eindhoven is easily reachable by train, plane, or bus.

By train

Eindhoven is reachable by international train via Amsterdam or Rotterdam. From Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you can reach Eindhoven Central Station (Eindhoven Centraal) by train in less than 1.5 hours. 

By plane

Eindhoven Airport

Eindhoven Airport is well-connected to many European cities. From the airport, there is a direct shuttle bus that takes you to the city's central station (Eindhoven Centraal) in about 15 minutes.

Schiphol Airport

Attendees visiting from overseas are recommended to fly to Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) and travel via train to Eindhoven Central Station (Eindhoven Centraal), which takes less than 1.5 hours.

By bus

You can get to Eindhoven from many European cities via Flixbus. The boarding point is just outside of Eindhoven Central Station.
